Phosphorus-free (immersion)-casting

The following is an introduction to phosphorus-free impregnation of castings:

principle

The phosphorus-free sealing medium (usually a low-viscosity liquid) is infiltrated into the micropores (fine cracks) of the casting by natural penetration (i.e. micropore self-priming), vacuuming and pressurization to fill the gaps. The sealing medium in the gaps is then fixed by natural (room temperature) cooling or heating to achieve the effect of sealing the gaps.

Sealing and leak prevention: Internal corrosion of castings often starts from micropores. When the micropores are filled with impregnating agent and solidified, they can prevent the infiltration of corrosive liquids and play an anti-corrosion role, so that it can be used in hydraulic systems and gas systems.

Prepare for surface treatment: Since the infiltrant fills the voids in the casting, it prevents these voids from absorbing the electroplating solution, causing bubbles and rough surfaces after plating. It can also improve its cutting performance and facilitate process control.

Application range: Suitable for impregnation of air and oil leakage of zinc alloy, copper alloy, aluminum alloy, cast iron, cast steel, etc. Typical impregnation parts include engine cylinder block, cylinder head, intake manifold, oil pump, oil nozzle, water pump, valve cover, cast oil pan, carburetor housing, gearbox housing, crankcase, compressor, power steering, automobile wheel hub, fuel pump, air control valve, hydraulic valve, cooling pump, sealed aircraft instrument and electronic instrument shield, air brake parts and various gas instruments, etc.
